Ghost on the windowpane

that’s the sailorhead rock, ma’am

Posted on
painting of a rock looking like the head of a sailor, by Samuel Rondiere a.k.a. Sam Elka

sailors coming back to the harbour have used that rock as a landmark for centuries
as long as you are in the right perspective to properly see the head
then you are safe to go

it’s all in the brochure, ma’am
they give it at the tourist board,
yes, the brochure is definitely free
no sir, for the cruise there is a fee,
prices are in the brochure,
I beg your pardon, ma’am ?
I don’t know what a cubist perspective is
but I don’t think that’s the kind of perspective we are talking about, ma’am,
yes sir, you’re right,
you need a bit of imagination to see the sailorhead rock
no ma’am, indeed, sailors don’t lack imagination,
it comes with the territory
yes ma’am,
sailors need good eyes, too
no sir, the sailorhead rock is the other big rock on the left
sir, you won’t see it right from here
if you want to see the sailorhead
you need to be at sea, on a boat, sir
heading back to the harbour, sir
you need to take the cruise
that’s the whole point
sir
